___________________________________________

It is my honor and privilege to present myself as a candidate for the post of president-elect of APPNA for 2011. I hope that you will find my dedication to APPNA, and commitment to excellence, worthy of your support.

I write to you today to share with you the changes I’ve already implemented as Secretary to make APPNA a more effective organization. With your
support, I hope to ensure longevity of these and many other such projects.

As chairman of the APPNA National Health Care Initiative, I am dedicated to working with members and all chapters to ensure APPNA receives the recognition it deserves. The goal of our June 5th event is to sponsor Health Education Fairs, Disease Prevention Education and Free Consultative Services in 100 Cities across North America under the banner of APPNA.

This year we will be conducting an APPNA National Mathematics Bee, a contest open to all children of Pakistani descent, in North America — from small towns to the largest cities. This outreach program is designed to motivate our youth to excel.

Additionally, we are in the process of establishing a Group Purchasing Program (GPO) Plan for APPNA members. This is aimed to reduce expenses for APPNA members from their practice related costs, and provide a tangible long term benefit of APPNA membership. Together we are truly making a difference.
                                                                                  Sincerely yours

                     DrQsig2
